Music Trivia Questions without the actual questions! Technically speaking, that is. This fun music quiz will have you spinning to the tunes as you try to figure it out. Here’s how it works. I’ll tell you three song titles and you answer which band or artist performs these songs…but here’s the twist: Each band or artist has a location in their name! It could be a country like France, a state like Alaska, a city like Portland, and even a place like the library, the mountains, or on a boat! It’s a really challenging one this time, but the multiple choice should make it more achievable. YOU CAN DO IT! Have fun!

These Music Trivia Questions Are About The Artist NOT The Song!
There are so many bands or artists that have a location in their name! One instance, seen here, is the Miami Sound Machine. From Florida (obviously) their danceable Latin-styled music was a huge it in the 80’s. There’s no doubt that Gloria Estefan and her band paved the way for all the current fun Latin-based bands and artists of today, such as Pitbull, Camila Cabello, Shakira, and others.
Other Location-Based Bands and Artists
If you open up this category to include places like a park (Linkin Park) and bodies of water (Billy Ocean), you could write about 50 versions of a quiz like this! Even general references to locations like the band Big Country even pass the test. Areas even work, like the band Badlands (Ozzy’s former guitarist Jake Lee and others from Black Sabbath made up this band), the world is literally wide open. Or…even the universe! Is there a band called Milky Way? Probably not, the candy bar got dibs on that one ha ha!
How About Music Trivia About Actual Songs?
Stay tuned for this! I’m always adding awesome music trivia to the site (like this 80’s song lyrics quiz) and I’m sure the next one will be just that…name the song title based on a theme.
