There aren’t a lot of options on a Monday night if you’re looking for entertainment, food, and drinks. Most venues blow off Mondays (until the NFL season starts!) because, well, typically not a lot of people go out. But there are some of us who are always ready and willing to hit the town on a Monday night. I say, let’s make it the best night to go out!

That’s why OC Trivia is running an awesome 5-round video trivia game at ELST Brewery at 6:30pm on Monday nights. What separates Original Content Trivia in Knoxville from other games is the video component. Instead of only hearing the question–and then getting inundated with a lot of people shouting, “What?! Can you repeat that please?!” teams get to read the question on the screen. It’s so much better this way. As a host, I get to pause the music, ask the question, then I get to SHUT UP and play fun music again! There’s no “library-like” atmosphere…and there shouldn’t be. Libraries aren’t fun. Bars? Yeah. They ARE fun!

Making It Fair For Everyone for Monday Night Trivia in Knoxville

The biggest pet peeve of most people is to see other teams using their phones during the questions. This doesn’t happen at ELST with OC Trivia running the game. We provide a phone basket for each team. This way, they can place their phone in the basket during the 10-question round. They can check their phones in between the rounds. Because, after 12 minutes, our bodies start to degrade without our phones ha ha.
