This is why there was such an uproar in 2016 when Donald Trump beat Hillary Clinton. She won the popular vote because she got more votes total. 3 million more. But, Trump and staff played a little chess and was smart enough to visit those battleground states of Michigan, Florida, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.
