A Random Trivia Quiz to Rattle Your Brain
First off, one of my favorite authors is featured in one of the trivia questions. Besides The Shining, It, and other horror stories, this author also penned the novella on which The Shawshank Redemption is based. Also, the short story The Body is the basis for the movie Stand By Me. This author is quite well-rounded as a novelist and writer.
How Many Planets?
I know, it’s so confusing right now! But let’s break this down for you. We’ve always had 9 planets. This is what we were taught growing up. The thing is, with Pluto being designated as a “Dwarf Planet,” does that mean we are down to eight actual planets? Many believe so. For those that still believe we should count Pluto as one of the planets in our solar system, they have run upon a conundrum. That being, with so many other dwarf planets discovered…do we also count those as full-fledged planets? This would bring our total number of planets to well over a dozen! This might be too much for our kids in school to handle.

The first is Sir Benjamin Hall who happens to be the First Commissioner for Works. This is the most plausible theory because his name is inscribed on the bell. The other thought is that it’s named after a Ben Caunt. Caunt was a champion heavyweight boxer who was extremely popular at the time.
