The First History Quiz For OC Trivia!
Here we go with some history. Covering things like sex in a box, baseball greats, English Queens, and more. One thing’s for sure, history is not my favorite subject, but turn it into trivia, and I am on board. One of the great things about OC trivia quizzes is that they combine history – you know, actual history – and pop culture questions. This is why these these history quizzes are so fun.
The historical event covered by these questions that is most recent is in 2017 when President Donald Trump announced withdrawal from a certain agreement. And this quiz goes all the way back to the 1700’s. So yes, we are spanning a pretty large space of time here.
Four Score and Seven Years Ago…Historical Trivia Was Born.
Well, not really. this is just for laughs. The government questions in this quiz have to do with Congress, the President of the United States, and statehood. I wrote this quiz in 2020 which is why I lean heavily toward presidential questions. It is after all an election year. These are more straightforward trivia questions. As for pop culture, I touch on board games, superheroes, music, and even game shows!
Wait. Is It A Sports Quiz or a History Quiz?
A very popular subject when it comes to history is sports. People love to memorize and recite stats, talk about record holders, and tell you about the great achievements of their favorite sports teams and players. If you are interested in playing a straight up Sports quiz, there are plenty to be found here.
There are some pretty memorable names in this trivia quiz, including Ken Jennings, the Rolling Stones, Donald Trump, and even a superhero. I also think people love history trivia quizzes because they invariably touch on things that they find interesting and provocative. Even if a subject isn’t your favorite, the fact that you’re learning something about an historical event makes a trivia quiz fun, engaging, and worth the time.
I hope you enjoy playing this historical trivia quiz. It took me a long time to write this one and a lot of research. That’s the thing about history, if you don’t do your research, you’re going to look silly!
